Cookies and Smarties, what a great combination! James and I loved making this ‘The Bottled Baking Co.’ recipe!
James stirred all of the ingredients together, but then had to wait for 20 minutes while the cookie dough chilled in the fridge. Just as well there was the wooden mixing spoon to lick clean!
He then helped shaped the cookie balls, pressed them down with the fork, and then supervised them going out to the kitchen to go into the oven. Dad put them in the oven, because as James remembers from ‘Big Cook, Little Cook’, the oven is ‘Hot! Hot! Hot!’

This was a great recipe to make, and once our cookies had cooled down a little we hungrily munched one each. Mum had one too and said they were great! Well done James, another baking win!
