Smartie Cookies – The Second Bake!

We so loved making ‘The Bottled Baking Co.’ Cookies and Smarties recipe that we wanted to make it again; lots of lovely memories of making them together!

James enjoyed stirring all of the ingredients together, and loved kneading the dough, but then remembered that he had to wait for 20 minutes while the cookie dough chilled in the fridge. Just as well there was the wooden mixing spoon to lick clean!

James then shaped the cookie balls, pressed them down with the fork, and supervised them going out to the kitchen to go into the oven. Dad put them in the oven, because as James remembers from ‘Big Cook, Little Cook’, the oven is ‘Hot! Hot! Hot!’

The Seriously Smart Cookie Mix instructions from ‘The Bottled Baking Co.’

This was such a great recipe to make that we made it twice! We couldn’t wait to try them so we ate some while they were still quite warm! Yummy!
