White Chocolate and Raspberry Tray Bake

Oh this is just scrummy! Lots of sticky fun to make and great to decorate too! We had a wonderful time making this irresistible white chocolate and raspberry tray bake!

We had lots of different types of ingredients to put in the mixing bowl, it took a while to get everything together, but then James very carefully mixed the dry ingredients, and then we added butter and eggs, before James added the milk and vegetable oil himself. James then gave everything a really thorough stir, making sure there were no dry bits, creating a lovely sticky cake batter, before we worked together to gently pour it into the lined baking tray.

James came out to the kitchen to supervise the baking tray going into the oven, which was Dad’s job as the oven is ‘Hot! Hot! Hot!’ although James was helped to carefully shut the oven door himself. It seemed an eternity to wait the 30 minutes for the cake to bake, and even longer for it to cool so we could decorate it with icing sugar! We’ve not done icing before so we went for a ‘drizzle effect’! Yum!!
