We loved making chocolate orange cookies last time, what’s not to love about that, so we thought we’d have another go! James and I really enjoyed making this ‘The Bottled Baking Co.’ recipe together, and the smell that filled the house when they baked was just sensational!
James carefully mixed and stirred all of the ingredients together, and put the dough in a separate bowl, but then had to wait for 20 minutes while the cookie dough chilled in the fridge. That was hard, just as well there was the mixing bowls and wooden mixing spoon to lick clean!
He then very carefully helped shaped the cookie balls, pressed each one down with the fork, but then decided that they made a lovely big squishy ball when pressed together again! Dad had to take over at this point, remake the cookie shapes and put them in the oven, because as James remembers from ‘Big Cook, Little Cook’, the oven is ‘Hot! Hot! Hot!’

This was a super fun recipe to make, and look awesome! Once our cookies had cooled down a little we hungrily munched one each. Well done James, another great ‘The Bottled Baking Co.’ baking win!
