Chocolate chip cookies! What’s not to like! We had a go at the ‘Betty Crocker’ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix today and made eight delicious cookies!
James carefully mixed and stirred the dry mix and the carefully measured out water together, and then we then kneaded the dough into a ball.
He then very carefully helped shaped the eight cookie balls, pressed each one down with the spoon, and then supervised them going out to the kitchen to go into the oven (from his sofa!). Dad put them in the oven, because as James remembers from ‘Big Cook, Little Cook’, the oven is ‘Hot! Hot! Hot!’

The Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix instructions from ‘Betty Crocker’

You will need:
1 Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
30ml cold water
1 Baking Tray.
Method:
Preheat oven to Fan 170, Conventional 190 degrees, Gas 5.
Lay greaseproof paper on your tray.
Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix until a dough is formed.
Divide into eight balls, place these evenly spaced on the tray.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven, cool and enjoy!

This was a super fun recipe to make, and the cookies look awesome! Once our cookies had cooled down a little we hungrily munched one each. Well done James, another great baking win!
